Christmas in Sweden

It can get pretty cold here, but still in some parts of the country we have to hope for snow. We love the whole Advent time: Each household will have the Advent wreath, Advent calendars and you see a lot of simple elegant light decorations.

Before Christmas is approaching we have another important day. The Saint Lucy’s Day when you see processions and traditional saffron buns (Lussebulle) are eaten everywhere.

On Christmas Eve we’ll open our presents after watching Donald Duch at 3pm and having dinner, consisting of meatballs, ham, herring, etc., with the whole family.
